Charlotte Tilbury - The Dolce Vita Palette & K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipsticks

I have recently had a bit of a ‘thing’ for Charlotte Tilbury with her effervescent  personality that oozes ‘sexiness’, the want for women to be as gorgeous as they can, and that rose gold vintage packaging was the cherry on a already appealing cake.
I have a few pieces from Charlotte’s line but one that has really impressed me is the Luxury Palette in The Dolce Vita. The texture is a buttery velvet, they blend so effortlessly, if you are new to eye make up I cannot recommend these enough all you need is a fluffy brush such as the MAC 217 or as Charlotte recommends her eye blender brush.
Often when palettes spell it out to you on how and where to use the shades I ignore it as I’d like to think I am capable of creating a look on my own initiative, however I did glance at the; prime, enhance, smoke, pop steps and with the colours, it does work and makes it even easier to work with.
The colours on this are so wearable from the prime champagne shade for every day to the warm rust brown of the smoke shade. So whether you are a eye make up connoisseur or a bare eyed beginner  there really is no point in looking any further for a product to take you from – quote Charlotte ‘desk to dusk’.Side note – there are no rubbish foam applicators included *lets take a moment to praise the make up gods*.

Now on to the lipsticks, and the aptly named K.I.S.S.I.N.G range, I also adore the matte revolutions' but that is for another post. I have Bitch Perfect ( love it) and Nude Kate. I started with the nuder colours as I am beyond over the whole 'Kylie Jenner' matte overlined thing and the constant images on 'honey love' and 'soar' on my Instagram feed was all getting a bit much. So I wanted something nude that did not fit that bill. Nude Kate is most comparable to MAC creme d' nude but much more natural and less peach. Bitch Perfect is my favourite; not only for the name but the natural pink pout it gives with a sophisticated nude edge. They are creamy, long lasting and pigmented - win.

Now, as a celebration of the re launch of OHROSIE.co.uk I am doing a giveaway with Charlotte Tilbury. Two of my favourite lipsticks the Matte Revolution in Walk of Shame and the K.I.S.S.I.N.G in Bitch Perfect are up for grabs for one winner.
