In The Beauty Bag with Daisy...

Who doesn't want to know what someone else is carrying around with them? Just me? Or are you as curious as I am? A persons make up bag is very personal and is a great place to hunt for hidden tips, tricks and product recommendations. Now in the first instalment we sneak a glimpse into the beauty room of my gorgeous sister in law (to be!) Daisy . Daisy is constantly travelling to and from London and has given me a  sneak peak into what she relies on to take her from day-to-night on the go.

Daisy is a trained beauty therapist and currently works for Lush cosmetics she,  like myself truly understands and appreciates the importance of good quality products.

What do you look for when choosing products to carry around with you?
When travelling I need products that are multi-purpose: small, slim and that travel well, so palettes for me,  are always a winner. My Nars 'Splendor In The Grass' palette, is the best, it  has 2 blushes, a contour and highlight in one slim palette! It allows me to be natural and also amp it up for the evening. I also need an  eye shadow palette for day and night looks and also base that I can build like MAC's  face and body.

Your one 'on the go' beauty tip or trick?
Carry around a soft crayon eyeliner, I like to smudge it through my lash line for extra depth because it looks like you've worked with a brush and a dark shadow,  but it has in fact taken minutes to achieve. My favourite eyeliner is  MAC pearl glide in Blackswan - it's so soft and doesn't drag.

If you could only pick 3?
MAC face and body definitely as it's so natural and can be built up or sheered down, depending on the occasion. I would also have to say a good mascara, I am currently using MAC studio fix bold black lash and whilst it's good but it's definitely a long-term relationship, I'm always searching for my new life partner! For my third I'm going to cheat a little a choose my NARS palette; I mentioned earlier, it brings a pop of colour to brighten me up after a long train journey, bringing me back to life - it's just perfect.

Now let's get on to the loot...

left to right...
